How to Fly

Follow these 5 simple steps to get your kite flying.

Choose a wide, open area away from houses, trees, power lines, and other obstacles.

Stand with your back to the wind and gently release the kite so it begins to rise.

Let the line out gradually, giving small tugs from time to time to help it fly higher.

If you need assistance with takeoff, ask another person to hold the kite about 25 meters away, facing into the wind, and then release it.

To gain more height, pull in the line and then slowly let it out again to increase the distance.
