From the start
Rafael Prieto Founded Eolo in 1978 as one of the first kite factories in Europe. Due to the nature of kite flying and wind relation, its name was inspired by the Greek mythology god of the Wind ”Eolo” Eolo was the first kite company to apply rip-stop nylon to the kites commonly used in Sailing. By 1992, it was considered one of the largest Kite manufacturers in the world, supplying its products to more than 60 countries.
